MudLOVE has made waves in the past few years with hand made products that allow people to express themselves in unique ways – especially their bands which are loved by locals and have been spotted on quite a few celebrities.
Each year, MudLOVE throws a party called Block of Love to celebrate the community and to raise money for Water for Good. Blue Note was hired to help develop an identity for Block of Love. The identity was developed with using organic lines to reflect MudLOVE's hand made products, an icon representing their heart for giving back, and bright colors to convey the excitement of the Block of Love event.
Codey, owner of Clay Table, is passionate about creating hand made and functional pottery, and wanted a mark to represent his passion. The Clay Table mark was created using organic forms designed specifically to hold up to a wide variety of applications, including being stamped into clay. The result is a unique mark that adds a personal signature to Clay Table's beautiful creations.
Design Outreach is a not-for-profit whose mission is to create and deliver life-transforming solutions for poor and under-served communities. Blue Note was proud to partner with them in developing a logo to be the backbone of their identity. Find out more by visiting doutreach.org
Lincoln Christian University
Lincoln Christian University is a different type of Christian school. They focus on teaching students to be thinkers in every aspect of life, not just their profession. And when they decided they needed send a more concise message about who they are, the decided to hire, Blue Note.
Blue Note worked in collaboration with Timberline Team consulting to define LCU's brand and identity, then delivered marketing materials that communicated LCU's passion front and center. All in a multi-tiered visual style designed to appeal to both undergrads and graduate students.

Green Earth Multisport
When a few local triathalon enthusiasts decided to start a multi sports store, they knew that they needed to go to Blue Note to help them get off on the right foot with their identity. From logo to signage, Blue Note helped GEM make the right first impression with its clients.
Da-Lite Fast Fold NXT
Da-Lite Fast Fold screens are the go-to portable screen technology in the AV industry, so when they decided to re design this product, they needed a strong brand and launch material, and Blue Note was hired to help.
From teaser product identity, launch ads, website, and illustrations, to a full product brochure and sell sheets, Blue Note created a unique identity for the Fast-Fold NXT product launch. And it all fell right in step with the Da-Lite corporate identity system.
The Garden is the place to be in Winona Lake every summer, so when it was time to update their identity they knew they needed to work with Blue Note. It took extensive research (including a few drinks while sitting on a boat) but in the end, we created a unique identity inspired by the sun and the waters of Winona.
Winona Heritage Room
Light Rail Café prides itself in being a locally owned and operated company that uses quality processes and locally sourced ingredients. They needed an identity to help get their customers as excited about their products as they were.
Blue Note created an identity in which Light Rail’s values were front and center. The complementary logo designs were created to be the foundation of an identity that left no question about Light Rail’s story. Through boldly stylized value statements and imagery inspired by the history of Light Rail’s location, Light Rail’s customers now know exactly what they stand for.
KCV (Kosciusko County Velo) Cycling Club is a local organization dedicated to enhancing our community through cycling. They organize Fat & Skinny Tire Fest every years and do a ton of other work partnering with local government and organizations to make sure that cycling is easy and safe in K-County.

When the owner of OsteoShape saw another company with the same logo as his at a trade show, he realized that the logo he bought at a discount logo-farm website wasn’t enough to differentiate his company from the competition. That’s when he hired Blue Note.
Unlike budget logo websites that pull icons and type from a catalog of clipart, Blue Note got to know the OsteoShape business. We worked with OsteoShape to create a unique and customized logo that captures OsteoShape’s personality and what they do best. And we paired the logo with a unique and memorable identity, giving OsteoShape a look that will help start the conversation with their customers.
When local startup Shepherd Firearms needed to dress up their new business, they came to Blue Note. We created an iconic logo in flexible formats so it is usable in any size layout and helped them establish a consistent visual identity to give all of their products and marketing a unified and memorable look.
Beer is good. Local beer is better. Blue Note helped a local home brewer give his beer an identity, and got honorable mention in BYO's label design contest in the process. If you are ever in Winona Lake and see a bunch of people drinking beer and standing around a kettle, chances are they are brewing Skidmark at Loud House.
Oak & Alley
Jason Bodley’s cocktails have become a staple of the Warsaw bar scene, so when he started Oak & Alley he came to Blue Note to help give his bar as much of a kick as the drinks he serves. Through asking questions and getting to know his passion and vision, we helped form a brand direction to make his bar the most fun place to have a drink in Northern Indiana. We also developed a visual identity with as much personality as the bar, and as unique as their cocktails.
At Blue Note, we like good beer. And the best beer in town is brewed by the Kettleheads Homebrew Club. We like the club so much, we helped them develop an identity to help get the word out about their passion for giving back to the community and great beer.
